Was it deconstructing my family’s first computer to see how it worked? Or my first real drafting pencil from my dad in middle school? Or even earlier when as a kid I would ask my grandfather, who was an engineer in GE’s steam turbine division, how they make electricity, to which he would reply “they put two cats in a dryer”. My curiosity in how and why things worked was always there leading me to make a career of it.
I started at Globus Medical in 2012 as a Test Engineer and through hard work and a constant continuous improvement mentality have advanced to now oversee six groups consisting of 99 employees spanning testing, engineering, and manufacturing. It’s the problem solving, process design, my coworkers, but ultimately the patients that we serve that provide endless motivation to be better and work smarter.
